Data controller

The controller of your data is Juan D. Luján García, Calle Paseo Los Mártires, 61 Bajo, 35018 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Email: info@weownthemaps.com. Phone: +34 675 343 534.

We process your data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on data protection and digital rights (LOPDGDD).

What data we process

We process the data you give us when you write to us or fill in a form: name, email, phone number, company, business website and the content of your message. Please make sure it is correct and leave out any sensitive data that is not needed.

Purposes

Enquiries: to answer what you ask us by email, phone, WhatsApp or any other channel.

Contact and diagnosis forms: to deal with your request, prepare the visibility diagnosis you ask for and talk to you about the result.

Business relationship: to prepare proposals, provide contracted services, handle invoicing and keep up the necessary communication with clients.

Legal bases

Consent (article 6.1.a GDPR): when you send us a form or an enquiry. You can withdraw it at any time, and this does not affect processing carried out beforehand.

Pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (article 6.1.b GDPR): when you ask for a proposal or hire our services.

Legal obligation (article 6.1.c GDPR): to meet tax and accounting obligations.

Legitimate interest (article 6.1.f GDPR): to keep the website secure and manage the relationship with our clients.

We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed or, if you are already a client, about services similar to those you hired and in line with the LSSI-CE. You can object at any time.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as we need to deal with it and follow it up. If no business relationship follows, we delete it when it is no longer needed or when you ask us to.

Client data is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts. After that, we keep it blocked for the periods required by legal obligations and while liabilities may arise.

Recipients

We do not sell your data. The only parties with access are the providers we need in order to operate, such as hosting and messaging providers, who act as data processors under contract and follow our instructions.

We may also disclose data to public authorities, judges and courts when the law requires it.

International transfers

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it will do so with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, that service is provided by a third party under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@weownthemaps.com. If we have doubts about your identity, we may ask for more information to confirm it.

Complaints to the AEPD

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The date of the latest update appears on this page.
